Seasonal Sailboat Rentals

No more yard bills or time spent maintaining your own boat! Instead, consider paying one flat fee to rent from a selection of boats for the entire season. Participants can choose from 3 different boats within our fleet. The boats include a 23' Sonar, Rhodes 19 and Sunfish. They are available seven days a week during our normal business hours. Sailors must demonstrate their sailing proficiently before the season contract is validated. Spinnaker gear is also available with an additional check out for $25 per rental period. Space is limited, so please call for details.

	SEASONAL SAILBOAT RENTALS Sunfish Rhodes 19 23' Sonar Sunfish The Sunfish dinghy is a popular one design dinghy which can be sailed with one adult and one child, but is most often sailed single-handed. At 13 feet 9 inches (4.2 m) in length and 130 lb (59 kg) in weight, the Sunfish is used as a day sailor or a racing boat, with over 1000 racing events every year worldwide. Seasonal Rental entitles user with Basic Cruising Certification to one 50% off rental of our Islander 30 (Sleepy Head). Fee: $1100 Rent: sign up for seasonal rental here The WaterFront Center is open to the public from Spring through Fall 7 days a week. Memorial Day through Labor Day we are open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday and Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Renters must be 18 years of age or have a parent's signature. Children must be at least 5 years old to be on one of our boats. Each child under 8 must be individually accompanied by an adult. A current drivers license is required for identification. Qualified and experienced sailors only. Two (2) hour minimal rental time required for all sailboats. Rhodes 19 Perfect for a family of four, or even a single handed day on the water. Come down and enjoy this easy to use Rhodes design and take in the beauty of Oyster Bay. It sports a fin keel and a cockpit large enough for 5 adults. This comfortable yet easy to sail boat is perfect for a day sail around West Harbor and even beyond.
