ImageGirls enjoy a sail on the historic Oyster Sloop Christeen.  While on board, they raise the sails, learn about the history of the Christeen and Oyster Bay, as well as oyster farming.  Then Junior Girl Scouts learn how to tie knots, do a sensory exercise to increase marine awareness and enjoy a hands-on experience with organisms from the bottom of the Bay in our live touch tank. Weather permitting, the girls swim off the boat and practice the HELP (Heat Escape Lessening Position) and huddle position.
