Junior Girl Scouts - Small Craft

Welcome to the sport of sailing! Using 19’to 23’ keelboats, Junior Girl Scouts participate in a three hour introductory sailing lesson on beautiful Oyster Bay. Topics covered include parts of the boat, nautical terms, sail handling, steering the boat, wind awareness, and safety procedures.
