Campers from the Boys & Girls Club of OBEN Visit the WaterFront Center Thanks to the generosity of Sealift, Inc., a shipping company with offices in Oyster Bay, 45 children ages 10 to 12 were able to come to the WaterFront Center for an![]() Boys & Girls Club of OBEN In addition to its one and two-week summer programs, the WaterFront Center provides day-long activities for camps and other organizations. According to its mission, the WaterFront Center makes a special effort to reach out to local youth and families who might not otherwise be able to afford to go sailing, or who haven’t had much experience with the estuary environment. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Sealift, Inc. local children had the opportunity to engage with the estuary environment, have fun on a beautiful summer day, and appreciate what makes Oyster Bay such a special place.
