Introduce your students to local marine wildlife and help foster their appreciation for and understanding of the marine environment through the WaterFront Center’s school programs. These hands-on programs, with a focus on inquiry and discovery, were created by a New York State certified teacher to meet and reinforce the New York State Standards, as well as the National Science Standards.Teachers can use these programs as a foundation for a science unit and to make connections across disciplines including mathematics, social studies, and language arts. Please contact us with any questions, or to see the specific standards met by each program. Schools that meet New York State criteria as educating an underserved population may inquire about a possible reduction in fee.
