The WaterFront Center offers graduates of our sailing courses and other competent sailors the opportunity to rent 23’ Sonars, Rhodes 19’s, and Sunfish. Rentals are available seven days a week from mid-April to October in the morning from 8:30 to 12:30, in the afternoon from 1:00 to 5:00, or all day. Sailboat rentals are also available from 4:00 to 8:00 on Friday evenings in July and August. (10% discount for full-day rentals) |

No more yard bills or time spent maintaining your own boat! Instead, consider paying one flat fee to rent from a selection of boats for the entire season. Participants can choose from over 25 sailboats in our fleet for a morning or afternoon sail. The boats, including 23’ Sonars, Rhodes 19s and Sunfish, are available seven days a week, May 1st through Sept 30th, and Friday evenings in July and August. Sailors must demonstrate their sailing proficiency before the season contract is validated. Spinnaker rigs are available to WaterFront Center Spinnaker certified sailors only, for an additional $25 per rental period. Space in this special program is limited, so please call for details. Kayaks are available seven days per week late spring through late fall (depending on weather and water temperatures) from 10 am through 4 pm. Kayaks are in high demand. While we cannot accept reservations, we do suggest that you call for general availability.

- Usage in limited to the individuals signing the rental agreement and waivers.
- All users must wear a life jacket.
- Usage is limited to within 75 yards of the shoreline of Oyster Bay.
- All users MUST sit in a seat. Persons are NEVER to share a seat, or sit on the bow, stern or in between seats.
- All children must be age 5 years or older.
- Children between the ages of 5 and 9 are limited to tandem kayaks and must be accompanied in the tandem
kayak by an adult (21 years or older).
- Each youth 10 to 17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult in their kayak OR another kayak (21 years
or older).
